Major Graphical Overhaul!

Hello everyone! I've got my first text devlog ready for you.

After sweating over my project for a while, I realized I had a finished version of this game about a year or two ago in RPG Maker (in case you didn't see from my YouTube channel, I've migrated to Unity). This has proven to me that I am capable of seeing this to the end, but I wanted more out of this, so I'm working on making the best graphics, story, and gameplay I possibly can by improving my skillset. I'm in the process of a huge graphical overhaul, I've been gradually iterating on the story. My current focus is not making excessive cutscenes, because I don't want to just bore people with endless amounts of text. As far as the gameplay, I found that the gameplay was fine in the RPG Maker version, just insanely glitchy because I couldn't figure out how to do what I wanted. So while I did make a completely different battle system at first, I ended up scrapping that and going back to the classic Active-Turn Battle (ATB). Another thing people complained about was not having enough gameplay. There are now visual novel choices in the game, and I've worked my story around more frequent battles. I really didn't want to make this a full visual novel, so I'm happy I managed to make it an adventure game again.

The first attached image is the old style, the second is the new style! Let me know what you think in the comments.
