This story follows a boy by the name of Rikuto Ryuunosuke, who, after dealing with the death of his parents, has to now figure out how to be the king of Ohanami. The problem with this, however, is that he is very depressed, and is far from a conventional king. With limited people on his side and extreme hatred from most of his court, he only sinks further into his feelings of emptiness. But when people begin to die off in his castle, it's up to him to figure out why before he is blamed for the deaths and overthrown brutally for murder. With his servant and a team of companions whom he meets along the way, he will travel to new lands and figure out more about himself and what's been happening to his castle.
